    Dry season is not so much flood but still beautiful and great construction!

    Nice highway easy to drive and camping well place.Families and kids and swimming around the lake shore .

    An impressive place to visit, being able to see such a testament to human construction. The road to the dam is well maintained and easy to drive. There are lots of facilities at the dam itself, including camping grounds, bbqs, and heaps of seating. The grounds were well maintained, and the view over the dam was impressive from the lookout point. You're able to drive right along the base of the dam if you're game, which is different to most dams where you drive around the top rim. A great place for a picnic, photos, and a relax. Well worth the visit.
